Artesia: Utility Adjustment

Summary

As part of the utility adjustment work for the Southeast Gateway Line, Southern California Gas will relocate existing gas lines in the City of Artesia. The work will require trenches to remove and relocate the gas lines.

What to Expect

186th St and 187th St will remain open with intermittent single-lane closures with flagging operations or a temporary lane shift.

Short-term traffic impacts.

Equipment in the street, excavations, and repaving of roadway and sidewalk repair.

Noteworthy

All work has received necessary permits and approvals.

Access to emergency responders will be maintained during construction.

Access to private driveways, residences, and businesses, will always be maintained unless notified in advance.
