Beverlly Glen Bl south of Viretta Ln: Field WorkSummaryAs part of the environmental review process for the Sepulveda Transit Corridor Project, Metro’s subcontractor, WSP/Kleinfelder, will perform geotechnical boring field work to gather information on existing soil and rock conditions on the 1700-1800 block of northbound Beverly Glen Boulevard, just south of Viretta Lane. What to Expect Work is anticipated to resume Wednesday, January 11, 2023 and will continue for approximately 3 weeks. Field equipment includes a drill rig truck (pictured), two crew trucks and a geotechnical equipment van. Work activities include bore drilling, installation of groundwater pressure sensors, water pressure testing, cement backfill and hauling of spoils. Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Lane Closures: Thru traffic will be maintained on Beverly Glen Boulevard in both directions. Northbound and southbound lanes on Beverly Glen Boulevard will be reconfigured during work hours around the work zone. Flaggers will be present to allow residents to safely enter and exit driveways along the 1700-1800 block of southbound Beverly Glen Boulevard. Street parking on the 1700-1800 block will be restricted during work hours. Access to Viretta Lane will be maintained during this activity.
