Erwin St Improvements


Metro’s contractor, Valley Transit Partners (VTP), will be performing roadway improvements on Erwin St between Sepulveda Bl and Langdon Av. This work is in support of the construction of the future G Line bridge over Sepulveda Blvd. 

Beginning mid-February 2026, VTP will begin the removal and replacement of Park & Ride Driveway on Erwin St by Peach Av and construction of a temporary platform within the existing Park & Ride lot. This process includes the installation of k-rail, new asphalt, and new street striping and signage.

This work is anticipated to take place through late-March, 2026. 

Anticipated start: Mid-February 2026  
Anticipated completion: Late-March 2026

Work hours: 

Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM. to 5:00 PM. 

Weekends: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. 

These improvements will help maintain transit service during construction and allow for long-term safety and reliability upgrades to the G Line. 

What to Expect

  • Temporary lane reductions on Erwin St between Sepulveda Bl and Langdon Av 
  • Closure of the G Line Sepulveda Station Park & Ride lot driveway on Erwin St, near Peach Av  
  • Flaggers on site to assist traffic flow  
  • Construction vehicles and equipment entering and exiting the work area 
  • Access via Haskell will remain open 


Additional Information

  • All work must receive necessary permits and approvals prior to work beginning. 
  • Access to emergency responders will be maintained. 
  • Access to driveways, residences & businesses will be maintained unless notified in advance.  
  • Parking is restricted in posted areas, please follow the signage. 
  • Noise and dust control measures will be in place to minimize impacts. 
  • Construction is a dynamic process and work schedules and timelines are subject to change.
