Summary

Chatsworth Station ADA Improvements Project will begin construction activities to enhance accessibility and mobility needs at the station. Improvements will take place throughout the station in four phases to maintain access to station services. When complete the project will enhance safety for all station users by updating and adding accessible features.

Phase 1 is anticipated to start Monday, May 19, 2025. Activities include installation of contractor trailers, security fence to establish a secure work area separate from the public, sidewalk and ADA ramp replacement in parking lot, directional tile, curb, crosswalk and driveway improvements.

Date and Work Hours

Phase 1 is anticipated to start May 19, 2025 to June 5, 2025. Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30PM.

Location

Chatsworth Station. Parking Lot B: North, West and middle; Northeast of Station Depot building; West platform; North of Parking Lot A

What to Expect

Parking lot and pedestrian access will be maintained. Detours will be in place during sidewalk replacement phases. Some parking spaces in Parking Lot A & B will be temporarily unavailable during construction, including ADA parking spaces. Alternative ADA parking will always be maintained.

Noteworthy

Construction delineation, barricades, cones, and signage will be posted. Traffic spotters will be present during the construction activities.
