Full Directional Freeway Closures

Please plan ahead or adjust your travel if necessary. 

The I-105 ExpressLanes Project anticipates the implementation of a series of full directional freeway closures during the late nighttime hours along the corridor in September 2026. The closures will involve freeway lane restriping to allow for work crews to establish work zone to safely advance the next phase of construction for the project. 

The anticipated dates and the locations of the full directional freeway closures are as follows. Please click the specific date for the full details of the closure:

Work Hours  

  • Directional full closures are typically from 11:00pm to 5:00am

  • Freeway lanes will start to close at 9:00pm in advance of the full closure 

What to Expect:  

  • To safely perform this work, corresponding ramps and connector ramps will be closed to safely perform these work activities   

  • Traffic detours will be in place to safely guide motorists around the closure

  • Advance signage of closure will be in place to notify motorists

Please note that construction is dynamic and work schedules are subject to change based on the progress of work and weather conditions.
