PARKING REMOVAL FOR SITE CLEARING/GRUBBING Metro continues its improvements on the 91 Eastbound Safety Project. Metro will commence ground preparation work (clearing and grubbing) along 67th Street. Clearing involves removing trees, brush and debris. Grubbing involves removing roots, stumps and other organic matter to ensure the soil is stable. Soil excavation will also be performed as part of this process to ensure the ground is stable for construction. Temporary parking removal is required to complete this work safely. WHAT TO EXPECT: Where: North side of 67th Street between Atlantic Av and Walnut Av Dates: July 27, 2026 to October 27, 2026 Hours: 7:00am to 7:00pm Scope of work: Crews will perform clearing and grubbing, and soil excavation activities. Street parking will be temporarily and intermittently unavailable on the north side of 67th Street during these hours to allow work crews and equipment safe access. WHAT YOU NEED TO DO: Check the street daily: Parking will be removed in pockets, not all at once. Please look for temporary "No Parking" signs before parking your vehicle. Relocate your vehicle: Vehicles remaining in restricted zones during posted hours will be towed. Residents will be responsible for paying towing and storage fees to retrieve their vehicles.
