City of Commerce: Sidewalk Restorarion


Summary

From February 3 to 5, sidewalk repairs and data collection will be done in the City of Commerce.

Date and Work Hours (weather permitting) 
  • February 3 to 5
  • 10pm to 6am 

Location

City of Commerce: Smithway St (near the Citadel Outlets) 

What to Expect

  • Pedestrian access will be maintained with temporary rerouting in certain areas.
  • Crew workers will help direct traffic at various locations.
  • Streets and sidewalks will be repaved after the work is complete. 
  • Temporary restricted parking in posted areas 
  • Temporary traffic impacts around lane reductions and side street closures 

Noteworthy

  • All work has received necessary permits and approvals.
  • Access to private driveways, residences, and businesses will always be maintained unless notified in advance.
  • Access to emergency responders will be maintained.
  • Noise and dust control measures will be in place to minimize impacts to the community.
  • The road will be reopened to vehicular traffic and parking daily after work hours.
  • Pedestrian traffic may be impacted for up to 72 hours.
  • Detours will be provided as necessary. 
  • Construction is a dynamic process and work schedules and timelines are subject to change.
