Florence Av Bus Lanes Striping

Summary:
Metro contractors will convert peak-hour tow away traffic lanes into bus priority lanes on Florence Av between West Bl & Florence A Line Station. Street parking will remain available during off-peak hours, mid-day, evenings, weekends, & observed holidays. New bus lanes will operate in both directions during the following times:

7-9am, Monday-Friday
4-7pm, Monday-Friday

Removal by grinding of existing striping will be required. New striping will be installed in phases.

When: September 2025 with anticipated completion in three months.

Work Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9pm to 6am

Traffic Control:
Temporary parking restrictions will be enforced on a block-by-block basis.
Temporary signage will offer detour information for pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists.

Noteworthy:

Access to driveways, residences, and businesses will be maintained unless notified in advance.
Access for Emergency Responders will be maintained. 
Construction is a dynamic process and work schedules are subject to change.
