Weekend Extended Lane Closures

Please plan ahead or adjust your travel if necessary.

The I-105 ExpressLanes Project will implement a series of weekend extended freeway lane closures in one direction of travel on an intermittent basis from spring 2026 – early 2027.  The work is necessary to safely advance ongoing construction for the project.

The next series of extended lane closures in one direction are anticipated on the following weekend dates:

July 18 – 19, 2026
July 25 – 26, 2026

What to Expect 

Advance signage will notify motorists of lane closures.

Metro C Line bus bridge is anticipated to occur on the weekends of extended lane closures.
