I-710 – Central Av: Directional Freeway Closures

Metro has a plan to ease traffic and enhance safety on the I-105, which includes the conversion of the existing High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane, or carpool lane, into two Metro ExpressLanes in each direction on the I-105.  Work crews are starting construction in the Segment 2 area, between I-710 and Central Av, with an anticipated completion in 2029.

Work crews are anticipated to perform directional full freeway closures on the I-105 over seven nights, beginning on Friday, November 6, along the I-105 between the I-110 to Garfield Av. During each night advance lane reductions will take place prior to the directional full closure. These closures are required to facilitate freeway lane restriping for the start of construction in this area.

Work Hours and Locations: Please note that freeway closures will occur at different locations as needed throughout the scheduled timeframe. Multiple closure locations listed for the same date and time will not be closed simultaneously. Detour maps are available below.
