Summary: The Link Union Station (Link US) Project will perform field exploratory work at non-public areas of Union Station, former Life Storage property, and at Commercial St/Center St intersection to confirm field conditions and existing utilities, from late-October through Spring 2027. This work will allow for the future construction of the bridge over the U.S. 101 freeway that will provide new run-through tracks to improve and expand regional rail capacity at Los Angeles Union Station (LAUS).

What/When: Work activities include crane mobilization, test drilling, soil exploration, concrete pours, photo and video preconstruction survey, water mitigation, potholing, site investigation, and soil testing. Work is anticipated to begin Monday, October 26, 2026, through spring 2027.

Locations
