Northbound Lane Closure of Avenue of the Stars 

Summary 

The contractor will be implementing a single lane closure to northbound Avenue of the Stars, just north of the driveway at 1900 Avenue of the Stars to support potholing activity for the storm drain and utility relocation work. This temporary closure will be implemented over two nights (3/16 & 3/17) to complete work.  

When 

Date: 

  • Nighttime implementation on Thursday, March 16 and Friday, March 17. 

Work hours:  

  • 7pm to 6am 

Traffic Control: 

  • Closure to #2 lane (curb lane) on northbound Avenue of the Stars, just north of driveway at 1900 Avenue of the Stars. One northbound lane will be maintained. The single lane on southbound Avenue of the Stars will also be maintained. 

  • Driveway access will be maintained for ingress and egress. 

Noteworthy: 

  • All work has received the necessary permits and approvals. 

  • Access to driveways, residences & businesses will be maintained at all times unless notified in advance. 

  • Access for pedestrians will be maintained outside of construction zones. 

  • Access for the Fire Department and emergency responders will be maintained. 

  • Parking restrictions will be implemented in the immediate area of the work zone. 

  • Construction is dynamic and schedules are subject to change.

Metro Access: 

Metro bus stops may be relocated, or lines could be impacted. For information changes to Metro service, please call 323.GoMetro. Passengers are encouraged to use the Transit App to plan their travels.
