North San Fernando Valley Transit Corridor Project Page Construction NoticesConstruction Notice: Roscoe Bl Traffic Loop Detector InstallationSummary: The North San Fernando Valley Transit Corridor Project is part of Metro’s plan to make it easier to get around LA with better transit across the North Valley. Beginning in late September through early October, crews will be installing new traffic loop detectors along Roscoe Bl at five intersections. Traffic loops are sensors that are embedded in the street to detect vehicles at intersections to sync with traffic signals. The new traffic loops will improve efficiency of traffic signal timing. Crews will remove old loops and realign them within updated lanes and crosswalk striping. Essentials: Traffic impacts are anticipated for one day at each work location as follows: Roscoe Bl & Variel Av intersection: Monday, October 6, 2025, 9am to 3:30pm
Roscoe Bl & Irondale Av intersection: Tuesday, October 7, 2025, 9am to 3:30pm
Roscoe Bl & Home Depot Pl intersection: Wednesday, October 8, 2025, 9am to 3:30pm
