Utility Relocation Work

Summary
The Southern California Gas Company will conduct pipeline relocations on Lakewood Bl between Somerset Bl and South Paseo St. The utility adjustment work will require short-term lane reductions, allowing crews to safely perform trenching activities along the Southeast Gateway Line project alignment in the Cities of Bellflower and Paramount.

Schedule (weather permitting, excluding holidays):

Ongoing through October 31, 2026
Work hours: Monday through Friday, 7am – 4pm

What to Expect

Short-term traffic impacts due to lane reductions. Lanes will be restored daily upon work completion.
Parking restrictions in posted areas; please follow the signage.
Temporary fencing, equipment in the street, trenches, and roadway repaving.
