Station Plaza Enhancements: Little Tokyo/Art District Station

Summary

As part of safety, security and architectural enhancements, work on the station plaza at the A & E Line Little Tokyo/Arts District Station will begin on Monday, September 29, 2025, and will continue through November 2025. This includes the installation of bollards on the station plaza, ticket vending machine and station enhancements. This work will not impact rail and bus services at the station.    

Date and Work Hours: Construction is anticipated to take place from September 29, 2025, through November. Monday – Friday, from 9am to 3:30pm, weather permitting.   

Locations: A & E Line Little Tokyo/Arts District Station & Plaza 

What to Expect:  

• Pedestrian access will be maintained outside the work area. 

• The work area will be secured with barriers.  

Metro Access:  

• Rail and bus service will be maintained at all times.
