Stone Canyon Rd - Belagio Rd Geotechnical Fieldwork

Summary

Metro’s subcontractor will be performing required preliminary, limited geotechnical fieldwork to gather information on existing soil and rock conditions on Stone Canyon Rd, approximately 250 feet south of the intersection with Bellagio Rd.

When

Mid-October to Mid-December 2026
Work will be periodic with a cumulative duration of up to three weeks.

Work Hours

Monday – Friday, 9am-3:30pm

Parking Restrictions

There will be periodic parking restrictions along both northbound and southbound shoulders of Stone Canyon Rd for a distance of approximately 250 feet, just south of the intersection with Bellagio Rd.

Lane Closures

An approximate 250-foot section of the southbound lane of Stone Canyon Rd, just south of the intersection with Bellagio Rd, will be periodically closed.

Traffic Control

Flaggers with radios will be stationed at the northern and southern ends of the closure to direct traffic around the closure in one direction at a time.

More Information
Local access, Pedestrian Access, and Emergency Responder Access will be maintained during work activities.
