Stone Canyon Rd - Strada Corda Rd Geotechnical Fieldwork

Summary

Metro’s subcontractor will be performing required preliminary, limited geotechnical fieldwork to gather information on existing soil and rock conditions on Stone Canyon Rd, approximately 350 feet south of the intersection with Strada Corda Rd.

When

Mid-October to Mid-December 2026
Work will be periodic with a cumulative duration of up to three weeks.

Work Hours

Monday – Friday, 9am-3:30pm

Parking Restrictions

There will be periodic parking restrictions along the west shoulder (southbound) of Stone Canyon Rd.

Lane Closures

An approximate 500-foot section of the northbound lane of Stone Canyon Rd, between Strada Corda Rd and approximately 250 feet north of Sunset Bl, will be periodically closed. Driveway access will be maintained.

Traffic Control

Flaggers with radios will be stationed at the northern and southern ends of the closure to direct traffic around the closure in one direction at a time.

More Information
Local access, Pedestrian Access, and Emergency Responder Access will be maintained during work activities.
