Summary: The Vermont Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project is part of Metro’s plan for better transit. This project will connect the communities along Vermont Av in the City of Los Angeles from 120th St to Sunset Bl through a new zero-emission BRT service while improving access to jobs, education, and other important destinations. Beginning in May 2026, crews will begin preliminary activities on Vermont Av to prepare the roadway for construction. These activities will include locating and identifying underground utilities through the process of digging small, controlled, exploratory holes to physically locate and verify underground utilities (pipes, cables) before excavation. This notice describes the work on Vermont Av When Anticipated work to begin as early as the week of May 11, 2026, for approximately eight weeks. Location
