Wilshire/La Cienega: Decking Removal, Phase 2

The next full weekend closure of the Wilshire/La Cienega intersection will occur from Friday 9/8 at 8pm through Monday 9/11 at 7am.

Summary

Anticipated to resume in August over 3 consecutive weekends, STS will be removing the concrete deck panels on Wilshire Blvd. between Hamilton Dr and into the La Cienega intersection. This work will begin on Friday nights at 8pm and continue through 7am the following Monday. A detailed implementation schedule can be found in the exhibit found below. Wilshire Bl will be fully closed between La Cienega Bl and San Vicente Bl; La Cienega Bl will be closed in both directions at the intersection of Wilshire Bl. Local access to businesses on La Cienega between Burton Way and Olympic Bl will be maintained from Clifton Way and Gregory Way.

  • 3 consecutive weekends, excluding the Labor Day Holiday.

Access
  • Access for Emergency Vehicles & First Responders will be maintained.
  • Local access to Wilshire Bl will be maintained at Hamilton Dr, Gale Dr, and Tower Dr.
  • Access to the Landmark Center will be maintained from northbound Tower Dr.
  • Access to the Cedars Medical Center will be maintained from Le Doux Rd.
  • Hamilton Dr and Gale Dr may be closed at Wilshire beginning as early as 6pm on Friday nights.
