Wilshire Bl between Veteran Av and Westwood Bl: LADWP Coordination Work
Summary
In coordination with the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, DWP will be pulling cable for temporary power of the station. The work includes sub-surface investigation, cable pulling in the manholes and terminations. This work will occur on Wilshire Bl between Veteran Av and Westwood Bl.

Date: Ongoing through May 2024
Work hours: Monday to Friday, 11pm to 6am and 9pm to 6am, phases listed below.
Traffic Control:
Phase 1: 11pm to 6am

Three eastbound Wilshire Bl lanes will be closed between Westwood Bl and Gayley Av. Lane reductions begin just west of Veteran Av. -
Left turns will be restricted for eastbound Wilshire Bl traffic to Gayley Av.
Phase 2: 11pm to 6am

Three eastbound Wilshire Bl lanes will be closed between Westwood Bl and Gayley Av. Lane reductions begin just west of Veteran Av. -
Left turns for Wilshire Bl at Gayley Av will be closed. -
The east leg crosswalk will be closed.
Phase 3: 9pm to 6am

Two westbound Wilshire Bl lanes will be closed between Glendon Av and Gayley Av. Lane reductions for westbound Wilshire Bl traffic will begin just east of Glendon Av. -
Left turns will be restricted for eastbound Wilshire Bl traffic to Westwood Bl. -
Eastbound Wilshire Bl lanes remain open for through traffic. -
The west leg crosswalk will be closed.
Phase 4: 9pm to 6am

All work will receive the necessary permits and approvals.

Access to driveways, residences & businesses will always be maintained unless notified in advance.

Access for pedestrians will be maintained outside of construction zones.

Access for the Fire Department and emergency responders will be maintained.

Parking restrictions will be implemented in the immediate area of the work zone.
