Soundwall Package 10: City of Pasadena 

Summary  

As part of the Soundwall Package 10 Project, Metro’s contractor C.A. Rasmussen, will continue soundwall construction activities on Maple St between Lake Av and Fair Oak Av and on Corson St between Los Robles Av and Wilson Av.  

Activities include intermittent shoulder and ramp closures during non-peak traffic hours to set up temporary construction safety barriers, material delivery/removal, backfill/grading/excavation, rebar/pile/form work/masonry installation, and concrete placement operations for soundwall construction.   

Work is anticipated to continue through Summer 2025.   

What to Expect/Traffic Control 

Work hours during the week are from 7am to 7pm, weather permitting. Saturdays from 8am to 3pm (as needed). 

Thru traffic maintained, lane reduction on Maple St between Lake Av and Fair Oaks Av. 

Thru traffic maintained, lane reduction on Corson St between Los Robles Av and Wilson Av. 

Westbound I-210 intermittent off-ramp closures at Marengo Av and Fair Oaks Av anticipated from 9am to 3pm and 8pm to 6am (noise mitigations in place during night-time activities). 

Westbound I-210 intermittent lane reductions between Marengo Av and Fair Oaks Av from 9am to 3pm and 8pm to 6am.   

Essential Details  

• Installation of advanced warning signage and detour signage will be posted along the route. 

• Access for emergency responders will be maintained. 

• All ramps will reopen before peak traffic hours.  

• Local access and pedestrian access is maintained during work activities.
