Summary 

A new 12” waterline will be installed on Avenue of the Stars located just north and south of Constellation Bl. The existing meter will remain in place as part of the new service installation Noise generating activities will be performed during the daytime operations from 9am – 4pm. 

When 

• Monday, September 14, 2026 – Friday, October 16, 2026  

Work hours:  

• Nighttime Work Hours: 9pm – 4am.  

Traffic Control: 

• Southbound lane on the west side of Avenue of the Stars will be closed at the intersection of Constellation Bl.
• Southbound left turn to east bound Constellation Bl will remain open.  
• U-Turn at the south bound AOS/Constellation intersection will remain open.  
• Westbound constellation left hand turn pocket will be closed  
• Eastbound Constellation right turn pocket at Ave of the Stars will be closed. 
• Access to the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel will remain accessible from north bound Ave of the Stars and from Century Park West to east bound Constellation to the Hotel Lane parking garage. 

Noteworthy: 

• All work has received the necessary permits and approvals. 
• Access to driveways, residences & businesses will be maintained at all times unless notified in advance. 
• Access for pedestrians will be maintained outside of construction zones. 
• Access for the Fire Department and emergency responders will be maintained. 
• Parking restrictions will be implemented in the immediate area of the work zone. 
• Construction is dynamic and schedules are subject to change.
