Beverly Drive Station Monthly Look-Ahead: February 2026

This monthly notification is an outline of construction activities for the month of February 2026. Additional notices detailing these activities will be sent by Metro’s project team. To be added to the Purple (D) Line stakeholder list for weekly updates, please email: metrodline@metro.net.  


Ongoing Station Construction 

  • Krail enclosures will remain in place along the north and south curb lanes to support ongoing station  construction and facilitate appendage and street restoration construction during the month of February.  
  • Two lanes in each direction will be maintained along Wilshire Bl between Beverly Dr and Crescent Dr.  
  • Left turns will be restricted from westbound Wilshire Bl to S Canon Dr. Sidewalk closures may be in place on the north and south side of Wilshire Bl during this time. Detour signage is in place to direct pedestrians along Wilshire Bl.  

Work Hours:

  • On-street work continues behind Krail Mon-Fri from 8am to 9pm, breakdown 9pm to 11pm, and 11pm to 8am when coordinated. 
  • 9am to 4pm, & 8:15pm to 7am, S Beverly Dr may be reduced to one lane in each direction. 
  • 8:15pm to 7am, Wilshire Bl may be reduced to one lane in each direction supporting station construction and material delivery. S Beverly Dr may be reduced to one lane in each direction. 

Sewer Service and Manhole Installation 

  • The contractor started in late January implementing temporary lane closures at Cross Passage 27 along Wilshire Bl between N Carson Rd and Willaman Dr that will continue into February. Turn restrictions from Wilshire Bl to Carson Rd and Willaman Dr may be in place.  
  • These temporary closures will support material and equipment delivery and removal, utility maintenance, engineering activities, and other construction-related support work. Work hours may be from 9am – 4pm.  
  • Partial sidewalk closures (near curb and parkway) may be implemented to install a manhole. Pedestrian access is expected to be maintained during this time. 

N Canon Dr Street Restoration  

  • Continuing through the month of February, the contractor will implement a full closure of the north sidewalk on Wilshire Bl to facilitate sidewalk restoration work. Signed pedestrian detours will be in place during this time. 
  • The contractor will continue work on street restoration activities on N Canon Dr between Wilshire Blvd and Clifton Way for the restoration and reopening of the street. 
  • Coordination with businesses and impacted stakeholders along N Canon Dr will be conducted throughout the duration of this work activity.  
  • N Canon Dr is anticipated to reopen at Wilshire Bl no later than mid-March. 

Permanent Utility Installation – N Canon Dr to N Crescent Dr 

  • The contractor will continue permanent utility installation work activity and has implemented a daytime & nighttime full closure of the alley from 9am - 4pm & 8:15pm - 7am between N Canon Dr and Crescent Dr through February.  
  • The south end of the alleyway may be restricted at Wilshire Bl and pedestrian access in the immediate area will be maintained. Entrance to the alley from Clifton Way will be maintained.
