Beverly Drive Station Monthly Look-Ahead: April 2026

This monthly notification is an outline of construction activities for the month of April 2026. Additional notices detailing these activities will be sent by Metro’s project team. To be added to the Purple (D) Line stakeholder list for weekly updates, please email: metrodline@metro.net.  

Ongoing Station Construction 

• Krail enclosures will remain in place along the north and south curb lanes to support ongoing station  construction and facilitate appendage and street restoration construction during the month of April.  
• Krail removal on the north side of Wilshire Bl may be implemented in the areas where the work behind Krail is substantially completed.
• Two lanes in each direction will be maintained along Wilshire Bl between Beverly Dr and Crescent Dr.  
• Left turns will be restricted from westbound Wilshire Bl to S Canon Dr. Sidewalk closures may be in place on the north and south side of Wilshire Bl during this time. Detour signage is in place to direct pedestrians along Wilshire Bl.  

Work Hours:

• On-street work continues behind Krail Mon-Fri from 7 AM to 9 PM, breakdown 9 PM to 11 PM, and 11 PM to 7 AM when coordinated. 
• 9 AM to 4 PM, & 8:15 PM to 7 AM, S Beverly Dr may be reduced to one lane in each direction. 
• 8:15 PM to 7 AM, Wilshire Bl may be reduced to one lane in each direction supporting station construction and material delivery. S Beverly Dr may be reduced to one lane in each direction. 

Permanent Sewer Discharge Work

• The contractor will implement lane closures at Cross Passage 27 along Wilshire Bl between Willaman Dr and Stanley Dr from March 30, 2026 through April 17, 2026. 
• Work hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9AM to 4PM 

UMP Decommissioning Work  

• The contractor will perform UMP decommissioning work along Wilshire Bl at various locations between Le Doux Rd and N Doheny Dr from April 3 through April 17. 
• Nighttime work hours of 8:1 5PM to 7 AM will be in effect from April 3 through April 14 between Le Doux Rd and La Peer Dr. 
• From April 15 through April 17, work between La Peer Dr and N Doheny Dr will occur during both daytime hours of 9 AM to 6 PM and nighttime hours of 8:15 PM to 7 AM.  
• Intermittent eastbound and westbound lane closures will be implemented as needed based on the active work area. 
• ​​​​​​​Thru traffic from side streets across Wilshire Bl may be restricted during this time. Turn restrictions may be implemented on Wilshire Bl and on side streets.
