The East San Fernando Valley Light Rail Transit (ESFV LRT) Project will improve connections and access to crucial destinations while connecting transit users to the growing network in the San Fernando Valley. The Southern Segment of the project includes a 6.7-mile at-grade alignment that will operate at the center of Van Nuys Blvd, from the Metro G Line Van Nuys Station on Van Nuys to San Fernando Rd.

Summary

In support of the ESFV LRT Project, the Southern California Gas Company will relocate a gas line along Lull St, between Tobias Av and Keswick St. Work activities will include saw cutting, trenching and excavation operations, relocation of a gas line, and street restoration.

Date and Work Hours

Beginning Wednesday, July 16, 2025, for a duration of approximately 2-weeks. Work hours are from 7:00AM to 9:00PM and 7:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday to Friday, and 8:00AM to 6:00PM on Saturdays.

Lull St, between Tobias Av and Keswick St.

What to Expect:

Construction will take place in two areas along Lull St:
- Between Tobias Av and Keswick St: Lull St will remain open to vehicular traffic with parking restrictions on both sides of the street.
- Approximately 700 feet west of Tobias Av, at the bend: A short segment of Lull St will be closed to through traffic. This closure will not impact access to driveways along the street. Traffic will be detoured around the closure.
Parking will be restricted in posted areas, please follow the signage.

Noteworthy

The road and sidewalk will be fully reopened to vehicle and pedestrian traffic and parking daily after work hours. No driveways will be closed during the work activities.
Access to emergency responders will be maintained.
