Carson Rd/Willaman Dr Cross Passage Work Activity
                

Summary 

Construction work for cross passages will begin on Wilshire Bl between N Carson Rd and N Willaman Dr beginning Tuesday August 14th. Work activity includes permanent sewer installation, saw cutting, roadway grinding, trenching, trench backfill, and final street restoration. Work at this cross passage location will be conducted daily during daytime work hours from 9AM to 4PM.

On Wilshire Bl between N Carson Rd and N Willaman Dr 

When 

  • Start Date: August 14th 

  • Anticipated duration: Approximately one month  

Work hours:  

  • Monday – Friday - Dayshift: 9AM – 4PM  

Traffic Control: 

  • Eastbound & Westbound Wilshire Blvd will be reduced to two lanes in each direction between Willaman Dr & Stanley Dr. 

  • Left turns onto S. Willaman Dr from westbound Wilshire Bl will be restricted. 

  • Left turns onto N. Carson Rd from eastbound Wilshire Bl will be restricted. 

  • Pedestrian access will be maintained during all work activity.  

Noteworthy: 

  • All work has or will receive the necessary permits and approvals. 

  • Access to driveways, residences & businesses will be maintained at all times unless notified in advance. 

  • Access for pedestrians will be maintained outside of construction zones. 

  • Access for the Fire Department and emergency responders will be maintained. 

  • Parking restrictions will be implemented in the immediate area of the work zone. 

  • Construction is dynamic and schedules are subject to change.
