Chase Bank Sidewalk Restoration Work 

Summary 

On Monday, February 9, 2026, the contractor began sidewalk and curb and gutter restoration work in front of Chase Bank. This work is anticipated to continue for approximately six weeks. To accommodate this work, the existing fence in front of the bank will be shifted further to the north while maintaining a minimum 5-foot clear pedestrian pathway. 

When 

  • Start Date: Monday February 9th, 2026   
  • Anticipated Duration: Approximately 6 weeks 


Where

  • Along Wilshire Bl between Beverly Dr and the alley at El Camino Dr.   


Work Hours

  • Monday - Friday 8AM – 9PM 
  • Breakdown, Cleanup and other quick activities may occur between 9PM-11PM 


Traffic Control

  • Wilshire Bl will be reduced to two lanes eastbound and westbound during work activity.  
  • Temporary relocation of existing construction fencing further north along the Chase Bank frontage 
  • A minimum 5-foot clear pedestrian pathway will be maintained. 
  • Temporary pedestrian routing adjustments as needed to maintain safe access around the work zone 
  • ​​​​​​​Use of cones, barricades, and pedestrian detour signage to clearly separate pedestrian access from active work areas 


Metro Access

  • Metro bus stops may be relocated, or lines could be impacted. Please call 323.GoMetro for details.


Noteworthy  

  • All work has received necessary permits and approvals. 
  • Access for pedestrians will be maintained outside of the construction zone. 
  • Access for emergency responders will be maintained. 
  • Construction is a dynamic process and the schedule is subject to change.
