Westwood/VA Hospital Station Roof Concrete Pours

Summary

Workers continue constructing the Westwood/VA Hospital Station within Lot 42 and west of Bonsall Av. Concrete pours of the roof continue Friday, September 19, 2025, beginning at 8pm and lasting for approximately 12 to 14 hours. Due to Caltrans work on US I-405, the I-405 on- and off-ramps at Wilshire Bl will be closed on Friday, September 19. This means that the design-builder’s concrete pours will require a different route for its cement trucks. The trucks will travel west on Ohio Avenue to Sawtelle Bl.  The trucks will then take the east side of Dowlen Drive to reach the pour site.
