New Traffic Configuration After Implementation

Summary

The new configuration will implement a sidewalk closure on the south side of Constellation Bl from the corner of Avenue of the Stars to Solar Way. A sidewalk closure will be implemented on the west side of Avenue of the Stars, from the corner of Constellation Bl to the Fairmont Hotel valet driveway. Pedestrian access on the north side of Constellation Bl will be temporarily restored. There will be a 2-lane reduction for southbound traffic on Avenue of the Stars south of Constellation Bl.

Schedule

Saturday October 17, 2026 through January 18, 2027
6am – 4pm and 8pm – 4am

Traffic Control

Two southbound lanes on Avenue of the Stars will be maintained. Southbound traffic at Constellation Bl will maintain a right turn pocket, one through lane and a left turn pocket with a U-turn option.
Eastbound and westbound traffic on Constellation Bl between Century Park West and Century Park East will be maintained. Westbound Constellation Bl left turn pocket will be closed at Avenue of the Stars.
Avenue of the Stars northbound through lane and right turn pocket will be maintained to east bound Constellation Blvd. The left turn pocket at Constellation Bl will remain closed.
The south sidewalk on Constellation Bl between Solar Way and Avenue of the Stars will be closed.
Access to the Fairmont Hotel driveways will remain open for business access only.
The westside sidewalk on Avenue of the Stars between Constellation Bl and the Fairmont valet driveway will be closed.
The west crosswalk at the intersection of Constellation Bl and Avenue of the Stars will be closed.
The south crosswalk at the intersection of Constellation Bl and Avenue of the Stars will be closed.
The north sidewalk on Constellation Bl between Solar Way and Avenue of the Stars will be opened using a temporary pedestrian walkway.
Pedestrian access from the Fairmont Hotel to the north side of Constellation Bl will be detoured at Olympic Bl.
Access to businesses and private driveways along Constellation Bl will be maintained.
Access to driveways for The Westfield Mall and 1999 Avenue of the Stars will be maintained during work activity.

Noteworthy

All work has or will receive the necessary permits and approvals.
Access to driveways, residences & businesses will be maintained at all times unless notified in advance.
Access for pedestrians will be maintained outside of construction zones.
Access for the Fire Department and emergency responders will be maintained.
Parking restrictions will be implemented in the immediate area of the work zone.
