Decommissioning of Geotechnical Instruments between Crescent Dr and Oakhurst Dr

Summary 

The contractor will be implementing traffic lane and sidewalk closures to support the removal of geotechnical instruments across multiple locations along the project alignment. This first phase of instrumentation removal will be conducted on weekday evenings between Crescent Dr and Oakhurst Dr.

When: 

  • Weekdays: Monday-Friday
  • Nighttime work hours: 8:15PM-7AM

Date/Location/Traffic Control:  

  • September 10-11- Location 1: Wilshire Bl between Crescent Dr and Palm Dr
    • Westbound Wilshire Bl will be reduced to one lane between Palm Dr and Crescent Dr.
    • Access to the alley between N Rexford Dr and Crescent Dr will be restricted. 
  • September 11-12 Location 2: Wilshire Bl between Maple Dr and Oakhurst Dr 
    • Westbound Wilshire Bl will be reduced to one lane between Maple Dr and Palm Dr
    • Left turns from S Oakhurst Dr onto Wilshire Bl will be restricted

Noteworthy: 

  • All work has or will receive the necessary permits and approvals. 

  • Access to driveways, residences & businesses will be maintained at all times unless notified in advance. 

  • Access for pedestrians will be maintained outside of construction zones. 

  • Access for the Fire Department and emergency responders will be maintained 

  • Parking restrictions will be implemented in the immediate area of the work zone.
