Decommissioning of Geotechnical Instruments between Beverly Dr and Linden Dr

Summary 

The contractor will be implementing traffic lane and sidewalk closures to support the removal of geotechnical instruments across multiple locations along the project alignment. This phase of instrumentation removal will be conducted on weekday evenings between Beverly Dr and Linden Dr.

When: 

  • Weekdays: Monday-Friday
  • Nighttime work hours: 8:15PM-7AM

  • September 9-11 Location 1: Wilshire Bl between Bedford Dr and Roxbury Dr
    • Westbound Wilshire Bl will be reduced to one lane between Bedford Dr and Roxbury Dr.
    • Access to the alley between N Bedford Dr and Camden Dr will remain accessible.
    • Southbound Brighton Wy will be reduced to one lane at Wilshire Bl.
  • September 9-11 - Location 2: Wilshire Bl between Camden Dr and Brighton Wy 
    • Westbound Wilshire Bl will be reduced to one lane between Camden Dr and Brighton Wy
  • September 9-11 - Location 3: Wilshire Bl between Peck Dr and Bedford Dr
    • Westbound Wilshire Bl will be reduced to two lanes between Peck Dr and Bedford Dr
  • September 9-11 - Location 4: Wilshire Bl between Bedford Dr and Camden Dr
    • Eastbound Wilshire Bl will be reduced to one lane between Bedford Dr and Camden D
    • Southbound Bedford Dr will be reduced to two lanes at Wilshire Bl
  • September 9-11 - Location 5: Wilshire Bl between S Santa Monica Bl and just east of Linden Dr
    • Eastbound Wilshire Bl will be reduced to one lane between S Santa Monica Bl and just east of Linden Dr
    • Northbound S Linden Dr right turn lane closed at Wilshire Bl
  • Tentatively September 15-19 Location 6: Wilshire Bl between Beverly Dr and just west of Camden Dr
    • ​​​​​​​Westbound Wilshire Bl reduced to one lane between Beverly Dr and Camden Dr
    • Left turn may be restricted from westbound Wilshire Bl to Camden Dr
    • Right turn may be restricted from southbound Rodeo Dr to Wilshire Bl
    • Left turn from westbound Wilshire Bl to Dayton Wy maintained

Noteworthy: 

  • All work has or will receive the necessary permits and approvals. 

  • Access to driveways, residences & businesses will be maintained at all times unless notified in advance. 

  • Access for pedestrians will be maintained outside of construction zones. 

  • Access for the Fire Department and emergency responders will be maintained 

  • Parking restrictions will be implemented in the immediate area of the work zone.
