Wilshire Bl/La Cienega Bl: Final Pave

Summary 

From 8pm on Saturday, August 22, through 6pm on Sunday August 23, through traffic on Wilshire Bl will be closed in both directions at the Wilshire/La Cienega intersection. Northbound La Cienega Bl through traffic will also be fully closed at the intersection, while southbound La Cienega Bl will remain open. These closures are needed to support paving work on the eastern portion of the intersection.

Traffic Control

  • Wilshire Bl thru traffic closed in both directions at Wilshire/La Cienega intersection. Right turns only on eastbound Wilshire Bl at La Cienega Bl. 
  • Northbound La Cienega Blvd thru traffic closed at Wilshire/La Cienega intersection. 
  • Southbound La Cienega Blvd thru traffic open at Wilshire/La Cienega intersection. 
  • Local access to businesses on La Cienega Bl between Burton Way and Olympic Bl maintained from Clifton Way and eastbound Wilshire Blvd. 
  • Local access maintained on Wilshire Bl between La Cienega Bl and San Vicente Bl. 
Detour Route
  • Northbound La Cienega: westbound Olympic > northbound Robertson > eastbound 3rd St > northbound La Cienega 
  • Westbound Wilshire: northbound San Vicente > westbound Burton Way > southbound Robertson > westbound Wilshire 
  • Eastbound Wilshire: northbound Doheny/Robertson > eastbound Burton Way > southbound San Vicente > eastbound Wilshire 
Noteworthy
  • All work has received the necessary permits and approvals. 
  • Access to driveways, residences & businesses will be maintained at all times unless notified in advance. 
  • Access for pedestrians will be maintained outside of construction zones. 
  • Access for the Fire Department and emergency responders will be maintained. 
  • Parking restrictions will be implemented in the immediate area of the work zone. 
  • Construction is dynamic and schedules are subject to change.

  • Local access to residential streets and businesses will be maintained via side streets
