Century Park East: Street Paving 

Summary 

Century Park East will be temporarily paved south of Constellation Bl to remove steel plates. There will be intermittent lane closures in the north and south bound lanes of Century Park East.  

Schedule

  • Monday, August 17 to Tuesday, August 18
  • 8pm - 4am

Traffic Control

  • Century Park East southbound ‘turnaround’ to Century Park Towers driveway will be closed during work hours.
  • The contractor will implement a temporary localized curb lane closure adjacent to the work area to support construction activities. All remaining travel lanes will remain open, and only minor traffic impacts are anticipated. 
  • Left and middle southbound lanes will be closed in work area.
  • The right-hand southbound lane will be maintained.  
  • A temporary two-lane closure will be implemented along northbound Century Park East to support ongoing construction operations. Through traffic will be maintained in the remaining open lane.
  • The contractor will be utilizing low impact drilling equipment to mitigate noise. 
  • Temporary traffic control devices and detour signage will be in place to guide pedestrians safely around the work zone.  
Noteworthy
  • All work has received the necessary permits and approvals. 
  • Access to driveways, residences & businesses will be maintained at all times unless notified in advance. 
  • Access for pedestrians will be maintained outside of construction zones. 
  • Access for the Fire Department and emergency responders will be maintained. 
  • Parking restrictions will be implemented in the immediate area of the work zone. 
  • Construction is dynamic and schedules are subject to change.
