Lane Reductions on Century Park East for DWP Utility Work

Summary 

The contractor will be installing LADWP utility infrastructure on Century Park East, just south of Constellation Boulevard, to provide permanent power to the future station. Work includes mandreling the DWP conduit system to verify alignment and ensure all conduits meet installation standards. Lane closures will occur during daytime hours beginning Thursday, October 30th, and will resume Monday, November 3rd through Friday, November 7th. 

When 

  • Anticipated Start Date: Thursday, October 30th  

  • Duration: Approximately 1 week 

Work hours:  

  • Daytime Non-Peak Hours: 9AM-3PM 

Traffic Control: 

  • Northbound Century Park East #2 and #3 lanes will be restricted during work activity.  

  • Left turn lane onto Century Park East will be closed.  

Noteworthy: 

  • All work has received the necessary permits and approvals. 

  • Access to driveways, residences & businesses will be maintained at all times unless notified in advance. 

  • Access for pedestrians will be maintained outside of construction zones. 

  • Access for the Fire Department and emergency responders will be maintained. 

  • Parking restrictions will be implemented in the immediate area of the work zone. 

  • Construction is dynamic and schedules are subject to change.
