Northbound Bonsall Av: Temporary Deck Removal

Summary

Construction along Bonsall Av continues nightly through Friday August 21, avoiding weekend and peak commuting time for weekday traffic. Visitors to the VA Hospital campus may exit through the south gate at Sawtelle Bl and Ohio Av.

Work will include temporary removal of deck panels and placement for pre-cutting excavation support bracing.

Monday to Friday
7pm - 5am

Traffic Control

Alternating northbound or southbound Bonsall Av lanes will be closed (cone lane closure) between Dowlen Dr and eastbound ramps at Wilshire Bl.
One lane of Bonsall Av will remain open with through traffic maintained.
Flaggers will facilitate traffic flow during the impacted hours.

Pedestrian and Business Access

Sidewalk closures will be in place in the immediate work area; pedestrians should follow posted detour signage.
