North Wilshire Sidewalk Restoration between Crescent Dr and Beverly Dr

Summary

The contractor will be implementing temporary lane and sidewalk closures on Wilshire Bl between Crescent Dr and Beverly Dr to support material and equipment delivery, deck removals, and street restoration. This work is anticipated to take place from January 28th - February 20th with work hours of 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Wednesday, January 28th – Friday, February 20th
Work hours: 8AM-9PM

Where

North side of Wilshire Bl
Saw cutting, jackhammering, and the use of vacuum trucks are prohibited during the following times and locations:
- 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Saturday, on N Canon Dr
- 6:00 PM to 9:00 AM, Monday through Friday, on all streets
- 6:00 PM to 10:00 AM, Saturday through Sunday, on all streets

Traffic Control

Work activity will take place along Wilshire Bl between Crescent Dr and N Canon Dr.
Move Ped access bullet here (from the bottom)
ADA-compliant ramps will be maintained or temporarily installed at appropriate street crossings to facilitate a safe pedestrian walkway.
The contractor shall install pedestrian fencing without sound panels and without mesh screening, ensuring pedestrian visibility is maintained.
K-rail will placed along the entire work zone on Wilshire Bl.
Building access with be maintained
Flaggers will be on site to support with vehicle and pedestrian activity.
Pedestrian access will be assessed as needed and modifications may be required to maintain adequate access to the side and adjacent properties.

Noteworthy

All work has received necessary permits and approvals.
Access for pedestrians will be maintained outside of the construction zone.
Access for emergency responders will be maintained.
