Parking Lane Closure Opposite the VA Parking Structure

Summary

To continue constructing the parking structure on the West Los Angeles VA campus, workers will expand the construction yard fence on Thursday, April 16 at 6 am. This activity will reduce the parking lane along the east side of Sawtelle Bl (to the corner of to the corner at Dowlen Dr) by approximately 20 spaces.

Street parking will remain available along Sawtelle Bl’s west side. There will be no change to traffic flow. One northbound and southbound lane will remain open. “No Parking” signs have already been installed.

This change on Sawtelle Bl is required by the need to construct a fire lane along the east side of the parking garage. Workers will construct the fire lane and then build a new sidewalk along Sawtelle Bl.
