Potholing on Constellation Bl West of Avenue of the Stars

Summary 

The contractor will be performing potholing activities for appendage piles located on Constellation Bl west of Ave of the Stars. This work will require temporary nighttime sidewalk closures and lane reductions to a single lane, with flagging operations in place for both westbound and eastbound traffic on Constellation Bl. Flaggers will be on site  in both westbound and eastbound directions along Constellation Bl to support with vehicle and pedestrian during work activity. Activities will take February 2 through February 20, during nighttime hours from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

Work Hours

• Nighttime Work Hours: 8PM-5AM 

Traffic Control

• Northbound closure of lane No.1 on Avenue of the Stars at the Constellation Bl intersection.   
• Constellation BL will be reduced to a single lane in both directions between Solar Way and Avenue of the Stars during nighttime work activity.   
• N sidewalk along Constellation Bl in front of Westfield Mall will be restricted during nighttime work activity.   
• Flaggers will be on site in both westbound and eastbound directions along Constellation Bl to support with vehicle and pedestrian activity.  

Metro Access

• Metro bus stops may be relocated, or lines could be impacted. Please call 323.GoMetro for details.

Noteworthy  

• All work has received necessary permits and approvals. 
• Access for pedestrians will be maintained outside of the construction zone. 
• Access for emergency responders will be maintained.
