The East San Fernando Valley Light Rail Transit (ESFV LRT) Project will improve connections and access to crucial destinations while connecting transit users to the growing network in the San Fernando Valley. The project includes a 6.7-mile at-grade alignment that will operate in the center of Van Nuys Bl, from the Metro G Line Van Nuys Station to San Fernando Rd.

SUMMARY
Metro's contractor, San Fernando Transit Constructors (SFTC), will conduct sewer line relocation work on Van Nuys Bl between Plummer St and Canterbury Av. The primary work zone will be located at the intersection of Van Nuys Bl and Vesper Av. During construction, Van Nuys Bl will remain open to vehicular traffic, with at least one lane open in each direction. Due to the work zone, motorists traveling northbound on Van Nuys Bl will not be able to make a left turn onto Vesper Av during work hours.

Work activities will include the relocation of sewer line connections and will involve traffic control setup, potholing, excavation, trenching, shoring and backfill, and roadway restoration.
