Wilshire Bl South Sidewalk Work Between S Canon Dr and Reeves Dr

Summary

Sidewalk restoration continues on Wilshire Bl. Work will be done on the curb, gutter, and for underground electrical along the south side of Wilshire Bl between S Canon Dr to Reeves Dr. Work is scheduled from April 27 through June 26, 2026.

Sidewalk closures will be implemented around the work zones. Pedestrian access to 9420 Wilshire Bl will be maintained behind K-rail safety barriers adjacent to the existing sidewalk.

South sidewalk along Willshire Bl between S Crescent Dr and Reeves Dr.

When

Anticipated Start Date: Monday, April 27
Anticipated Completion Date: Friday, June 26

Work hours:

Mon-Fri: 7am-4:30pm (Permitted noisy activities performed from 9am-4:30pm)
Mon-Fri: 8pm-4:30am

What to Expect:

Minimum 5-foot pedestrian access will be maintained through a protected K-rail pathway adjacent to the existing sidewalk.
Access to 9420 Wilshire, parking lot, and existing ADA ramp will be maintained during construction.
Wayfinding signage will be installed to direct visitors and pedestrians along the south side of Wilshire Bl and to 9420 Wilshire throughout construction.

Traffic Control:

Traffic control devices, including signage and K-rail barriers, will be installed as needed around the work zone.

Noteworthy:

All work has or will receive the necessary permits and approvals.
Access to driveways, residences & businesses will be maintained at all times unless notified in advance.
Access for pedestrians will be maintained outside of construction zones.
Access for the Fire Department and emergency responders will be maintained.
Parking restrictions will be implemented in the immediate area of the work zone.
Construction is dynamic and schedules are subject to change.
