Southbound Bonsall Av Construction 

Summary 

Construction along southbound Bonsall Av for roadway restoration is scheduled to begin Friday, August 14 and continue through September 30, 2026. The work requires the extended closure of the westbound onramp to Wilshire Bl and the eastbound offramp to Bonsall Av from Wilshire Bl. One lane will remain open on Bonsall Av in both directions.

Work will include the final restoration of the roadway for Metro D Line construction.

Schedule

• Friday, August 14 to Wednesday, September 30

Traffic Control

• Extended temporary traffic control and temporary striping for one lane to be open in both directions.
• Flaggers will be present at each end of the lane closure to facilitate traffic flow as needed.
• Through traffic to the north and south campus of the VA hospital will be maintained.
