Utility Installation on Century Park East 

Summary 

The contractor will be continuing LADWP utility infrastructure work on Century Park East, just south of Constellation Boulevard, to provide permanent power to the future station. Lane closures will occur during weekday daytime hours and potentially on weekends & in the evening intermittently beginning Wednesday, December 10th through Wednesday December 31st.

When

  • Anticipated Start Date: December 10th  
  • Duration: Approximately 4 weeks
Work hours:
  • Daytime Non-Peak Work Hours: 9AM-4PM
  • Nighttime and Weekend Work Hours: TBD (Pending LADWP District Office Approval)
Traffic Control:
  • Northbound Century Park East #3 lane will be restricted during work activity.
  • Intermittent lane closure will be in place on westbound Constellation Bl near Century Park East during work activity. 
  • Driveway access along Century Park East will be maintained during all work activities
Noteworthy:
  • All work has received the necessary permits and approvals.
  • Access to driveways, residences & businesses will be maintained at all times unless notified in advance.
  • Access for pedestrians will be maintained outside of construction zones.
  • Access for the Fire Department and emergency responders will be maintained.
  • Parking restrictions will be implemented in the immediate area of the work zone.
  • Construction is dynamic and schedules are subject to change.
