Water Mainline Tie-in Work Activity                                           
                

Summary 

The Contractor is planning to complete the final tie-ins of the new waterline starting July 11th through July 25th. The waterline tie-ins will be performed at night, during off peak hours to minimize potential impact to stakeholders. The waterline tie-ins are planned to take place over a series of night shifts. Each tie-in is anticipated to be completed in a single shift. Stakeholders that may be impacted will be provided additional notifications, providing the specific date, time, and duration of water shutdown and water service interruption. Additional coordination with impacted stakeholders will take place prior to scheduling the tie-in and service interruption to mitigate any potential conflicts. Further details will be provided in subsequent notices.   

When 

  • Anticipated start date: July 11th  

  • Anticipated Duration: Approximately 2 weeks 

Work hours:  

  • Nighttime work activity:  9pm-7am set up and breakdown 

  • Water shutdown hours:   10pm- 4am 

Traffic Control: 

  • Detailed traffic control plans are being finalized and once complete it will be provided in advance of work activity.  

Noteworthy 

  • All work will receive necessary permits and approvals from the City of Beverly Hills prior to the start of work. 

  • An approved detour map will be published prior to the start of the first full closure.  

  • Access for pedestrians, the Fire Dept, and emergencies will be maintained outside the construction zone.
