Weekend Full Intersection Closure – Wilshire/Western                                                                         

Summary 

Beginning at 9pm on Friday, August 1, and continuing through 6am on Monday, August 4, Wilshire Bl will be fully closed between Western Av and St Andrews Pl. This closure will support Final Paving work in the Wilshire/Western intersection. A detour route will be in place. 

When 

• 9pm on Friday, August 1 through 6am on Monday, August 4. 

• One contingency weekend has been approved in the unlikely event that work cannot be completed on time: August 8 through August 11.

• All work has received necessary permits and approvals. 

• Access for pedestrians will be maintained outside of the construction zone.

Metro bus stops may be relocated or lines could be impacted. For changes to Metro service, please call 323.GoMetro. 

Unhoused Persons 

Metro Construction Relations staff will notify and coordinate with the appropriate Los Angeles City Council District when a person experiencing homelessness is identified on City property (e.g., streets and sidewalks) near a Metro construction site.
