Westwood/VA Hospital Station Off-Ramp Closure to Bonsall Av

Summary 

As workers continue constructing the future Westwood/VA Hospital Station, work will require a temporary nightly closure for the westbound Wilshire Bl off-ramp to Bonsall Av. This closure will begin Monday, February 9 and last one week. Closures will run from 9pm to 6am each day. 1.

  • Week of Feb 9, 2026  

Work Hours   

  • 9 pm to 6 am 

Noteworthy  

  • All work has or will receive the necessary permits and approvals. 
  • Access to driveways, residences & businesses will be maintained unless notified in advance. 
  • Access for pedestrians will be maintained outside of construction zones. 
  • Access for the Fire Department and emergency responders will be maintained. 
  • Parking restrictions will be implemented in the immediate area of the work zone.

Metro Access 

Metro bus stops may be relocated or lines could be impacted. For information changes to Metro service, please call 323.GoMetro. 

Unhoused Persons 

Metro Construction Relations staff will notify and coordinate with the appropriate Los Angeles City Council District when a person experiencing homelessness is identified on City property (e.g., streets and sidewalks) near a Metro construction site.
