Westwood Village Steady State

Summary  

Construction of the northeast and southeast entrances of the Westwood/UCLA Station will continue from May 2026 through May 2027. Work is anticipated daily from 5am to 4pm and 9pm to 6am. Work will continue Monday through Saturday. Additional lane closures may be implemented. 

This work will construct the final of the Westwood/UCLA Station entrances and will require lane reductions on eastbound and westbound Wilshire Bl, from west of Veteran Av to Westwood Bl. Periodic lane reductions will be taken on Veteran Av just north and south of Wilshire Bl. Some Wilshire Bl and Westwood Bl sidewalks will be closed so please follow detour signage.  

Work will be behind K-Rail and fencing and include excavation, hauling, trucking operations, and set up and breakdown of temporary traffic control.

  • May 2026 – May 2027  

Work Hours 

  • 5am-4pm and 9pm-6am on Monday through Saturday 

Traffic Control

  • Eastbound and westbound traffic on Wilshire Bl will be reduced between Veteran Av and Westwood Bl.  
  • Affected bus stops will be relocated; please follow directional signage. 

Noteworthy 

  • All work has received necessary permits and approvals. 
  • Access for pedestrians will be maintained outside of construction zones. 
  • Access for the fire department and emergency responders will be maintained. 
  • Parking restrictions will be implemented in the immediate area of the work zone. 
  • Construction is dynamic and schedules are subject to change.
