Wilshire/La Cienega Eastbound Wilshire Directional Closure 

Summary 

On Sunday, July 27, from 6am to 10pm, Eastbound Wilshire Bl will be closed at La Cienega Bl. This traffic control will support a traffic switch and K-Rail move to the south curb along Wilshire Bl. 

Westbound Wilshire Bl will be reduced to a single lane between San Vicente Bl and Le Doux Rd. A signed detour will be in place: Eastbound Wilshire Bl > Northbound Robertson Bl > Eastbound Burton Way > Southbound San Vicente Bl.

Noteworthy 

  • All work has received necessary permits and approvals. 

  • Access for pedestrians will be maintained outside of the construction zone. 

  • Access for emergency responders will be maintained.

Unhoused Persons 

Metro Construction Relations staff will also notify and coordinate with the appropriate Los Angeles City Council District when a person experiencing homelessness is identified on City property (e.g., streets and sidewalks) near a Metro construction site.
