City of Beverly Hills – Wilshire/La Cienega Monthly Look-Ahead: February 2026 

This monthly notification is an outline of construction activities for the month of February 2026, pending City of Beverly Hills approval. Additional notices detailing these activities will be sent by email through the D Line Extension, Section 1 database. Tower Dr Median Work
  • In February, the Contractor will continue restoration work at the medians to the east and west of the intersection at Tower Dr on Wilshire Bl.
  • Wilshire Bl will be reduced to two lanes in the eastbound direction between La Cienega Bl and San Vicente Bl. Westbound Wilshire Bl will be reduced to two lanes between San Vicente Bl and N Hamilton Dr.
    • Intermittent bumpouts will be utilized in a westbound or eastbound direction during off-peak hours, as needed.
    • Intermittent left turn restrictions from eastbound Wilshire Bl to San Vicente Bl may be utilized, as needed.
  • The median work is anticipated to be completed in March.
  • Weekend directional closures may be utilized in either westbound or eastbound directions, on an as-needed basis. Advanced notice will be available in future construction notices.
Wilshire Bl Curb/Gutter and curb ramp placement between La Cienega Bl and Stanley Dr
  • Starting in February, the contractor will be replacing curb and gutter on the north and south side of Wilshire Bl between La Cienega Bl and Stanley Dr. Curb ramps at Le Doux Rd and Stanley Dr will be replaced with current code-compliant ramps. To facilitate this work, Wilshire Bl may be reduced to one or two lanes for 2 – 3-week durations. These closures will be implemented on individual blocks of Wilshire Bl between La Cienega Bl and Carson Rd. More details will be available in future construction notices.
Instrumentation Removal, Utility Work, and Street Maintenance at Wilshire Bl between Stanley Dr and San Vicente Bl
  • Intermittent lane closures, turn restrictions, and sidewalk closures on La Cienega Bl, Wilshire Bl, and side streets.
    • Intermittent full closures of S Tower Dr, Gale Dr and Hamilton Dr, north or south of Wilshire Bl, and intermittent lane closures on Wilshire Bl may be implemented to support civil restoration or instrumentation removal. These closures may be short-term durations, conducted on weekends and weekdays as needed typically during off-peak hours.
    • Intermittent single-lane closures on Wilshire Bl between San Vicente Bl and Carson Rd may be implemented to support ongoing work activities for the Wilshire/La Cienega Station. These closures may be implemented during off-peak and peak hours as needed, in addition to weekend hours. Partial sidewalk closures may also be implemented to remove monitoring instruments in the sidewalk.
    • Right turns from southbound San Vicente Bl to westbound Wilshire Bl may be intermittently restricted through February typically during off peak hours.
    • Intermittent directional closures may be implemented on westbound or eastbound Wilshire Bl a on some weekends in February. Additional details for this work will be available in future construction notices.
    • Northbound La Cienega Bl may be reduced to two lanes between Wilshire Bl to just north of Wilshire Bl. for curb and gutter and curb ramp replacement at the southeast corner of Wilshire Bl. and La Cienega Bl. intersection and for traffic signal system installation.  Southbound La Cienega Bl may be reduced to two lanes between Clifton Way and Gregory Way for traffic signal system installation and for curb ramp replacement at northwest and southwest corners of Wilshire Bl. and La Cienega Bl. intersection. These closures may include sidewalk closures on either the east or west side of La Cienega Bl. More details will be provided in future construction notices. Lane reductions in both directions will not occur simultaneously except during night or weekend work hours.
