Wilshire/La Cienega – Street Restoration 

Summary 

Restoration of Wilshire Bl continues with anticipated completion in December 2025. Crews continue to work on the south side of Wilshire Bl between San Vicente Bl and La Cienega Bl behind K-rail construction barriers. Wilshire Bl is reduced to two lanes in each direction during the construction of new curbs, sidewalks, pedestrian ramps, and tree wells.

Where

  • Wilshire Bl between San Vicente Bl and La Cienega Bl 

Traffic Control 

  • Wilshire Bl: Two lanes open in each direction between San Vicente Bl and La Cienega Bl. 
    • During off-peak hours, eastbound or westbound Wilshire may be reduced to one lane; eastbound impacts may begin at Carson Rd. 
  • La Cienega Bl: Northbound may be reduced to two lanes near Wilshire. 
  • Local Street Closures: Hamilton Dr, Gale Dr, and Tower Dr may close intermittently at Wilshire Bl. 
    • North/South Hamilton and Gale Drives will not close at the same time. 

Turn Restrictions: 

  • No left or through turns at Hamilton Dr/Wilshire. 
  • Right turns from Hamilton Dr will remain open. 
  • No left turns from S Tower Dr to westbound Wilshire; right turns allowed. 
  • All turns at Wilshire/La Cienega expected to remain open; brief closures possible. 
Pedestrian Access: A 5-ft walkway will remain open on the south side of Wilshire Bl. Temporary sidewalk closures may occur with signage provided.
