Alley Work Update Between N Canon Dr and Cresent Dr       

Summary 

Construction activities in the AKA Alley have been temporarily paused as the contractor works to develop and submit a revised design to address unforeseen utility conflicts. During this pause, the alley has been reopened for access. Once the work plan has been approved and work activities are rescheduled, the new timeline will be communicated prior to implementation.   

When 

  • Alley reopened: May 22nd    

Work hours:  

  • 9 AM- 4PM  

Traffic Control: 

  • Ingress and egress for the alley will be accessible from Wilshire and Clifton Way (however the Wilshire end is one way southbound).   

  • Flagger will be on site to assist motorists in the alley during intermittent work activities.  

Noteworthy: 

  • All work has or will receive the necessary permits and approvals. 

  • Access to driveways, residences & businesses will always be maintained unless notified in advance. 

  • Access for pedestrians will be maintained outside of construction zones. 

  • Access for the Fire Department and emergency responders will be maintained 

  • Parking restrictions will be implemented in the immediate area of the work zone. 

  • Construction is dynamic and schedules are subject to change.
