  • Along with the concrete placement work, sidewalk restoration activity will be taking place at cross passage locations and will also be occurring concurrently during the month of May.

  • Curb-lane traffic closures will be required to remove temporary dewatering infrastructure and restore the sidewalks. Work hours are 9am to 4pm along Wilshire Bl.

N Canon Appendage Construction Activity

  • The contractor has resumed potholing and piling activity to progress with the development of appendage structures for the future station.

  • To facilitate work activity, the contractor will need to restrict sidewalk access from N Canon Dr to Crescent Dr along N. side of Wilshire Bl during work activity. This work activity began in early April and will continue during the month of May.  Work hours are 8am-6pm for all potholing and piling activities.

  • Eastbound and westbound Wilshire Blvd will be reduced to two lanes with curb lanes restricted. The northern sidewalk from N Canon Dr to Crescent Dr along Wilshire Bl will be restricted in phases with pedestrian detours and access provided during the work activity.

Beverly Dr Appendage Construction Activity

  • The contractor has implemented a sidewalk closure along the north side of Wilshire Bl between N Beverly Dr and N Canon Dr to progress with potholing and piling activities for the future station appendage construction. Potholing began Monday, April 28th and will take approximately three weeks, with piling to follow  taking  approximately two days to complete.

  • The westbound Wilshire Bl curb lane will be restricted during work activity.

  • The north sidewalk on Wilshire Bl will be restricted in phases with pedestrian detours and access provided during the work activity.

  • Access to the alleyway between Beverly Dr and N Canon Dr may be restricted during work activity.

  • Work hours for potholing activity will take place from 8am-4pm and piling activity will take place from 8am-6pm.

Permanent Utility Installation

  • To support the installation of permanent utilities for the future station, the contractor has implemented a full closure of the alley driveway entrance on Wilshire Bl between N Canon Dr and Beverly Dr to begin potholing activities. Work activity will take place during the nighttime from 8PM-6AM.  The alley between N. Canon Dr. and N. Crescent Dr. will be closed during the day from 8am to 6pm for the construction of a manhole. Alley access will be provided from Clifton way.

  • During work hours, ingress and egress into the alley from Wilshire Bl will be restricted due to the location of the manhole access.

  • All ingress and egress will be accessible through N Canon Dr. or Clifton Way

  • Right turns onto Wilshire Bl from the alleyway will be restricted.

  • Flagger will be on site to assist with motorists as needed.
